Enjoy light refreshments and the opportunity to meet & talk with Dr. Monica Esposito as we welcome her to the practice located at 5500 Little Road, New Port Richey.

Monica Esposito, DO, comes to Access Health Care directly from completing her family medicine residency at St. Petersburg General Hospital where she was appointed Chief Resident in recognition of her leadership skills. While in residency, Dr. Esposito was head of the Research Committee and the Graduate Medical Education Schedule Coordinator. She also served as Chief Patient Advocate from July 2017 through July 2018 where she participated in the Patient Satisfaction Committee. Dr. Esposito received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Bradenton campus, where she graduated in June 2016. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Florida.

Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Esposito served as a research fellow at the Shands University of Florida Department of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Esposito is BLS, ACLS and PALS certified in addition to being NRP certified. She is the author of many publications on a wide range of medical topics. She is a member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.

Dr. Esposito enjoys volunteering having served as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, Hospital Hope of the Tampa Cancer Center, and on a week-long mission trip to Jamaica to a medically underserved area to help to run a free clinic for the residents.

She enjoys boating, fishing, hiking, traveling, kickboxing, painting and tennis. Dr. Esposito is a former Latin dance teacher and professional Salsa dancer. Her husband is firefighter/paramedic and therefore they are committed to serving their community.
