Prescription Refills

Any prescription refill must be called into the office 7 days prior to running out of the medication. To place a renewal request by telephone call 352-688-8116. If applicable, the prescription will be called into the pharmacy. Please contact your pharmacy to see when your prescription will be ready. If a prescription is to be picked up at the office, we will contact you when it is ready.

Referrals

A referral or a prior authorization required for a service usually takes 5 to 7 business days. Please keep in mind that each insurance company has different response times. When we submit a request, Access Health Care Physicians has to wait until the insurance company sends back the approval. We ask that you contact us after (3 to 5) working days regarding the status of your referral. Please call 352-684-7438. Be sure to include your name, date of birth, telephone number, and message.

Billing Questions

If you have a question regarding your statement and would like to request additional information, call 352-593-4101 to reach the billing department. Be sure to include your date of birth, telephone number, and message.
