Message From Ivan Diaz
Ivan Diaz, MD has been in practice in Hernando County since 2009. Dr. Diaz is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He completed his residency in family medicine at L.P. Johnson Family Health Center/University of Illinois – College of Medicine at Rockford in Rockford, Illinois, where he was appointed Chief Resident in his last year of training. He later was appointed as Assistant Clinical Professor by the University of Illinois where he trained medical students and residents. He received his medical degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in his native Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Diaz has a particular interest in preventative medicine and patient education. Dr. Diaz is married with three children. He enjoys riding his motorcycle, cooking and spending quality time with his family.
