Message From John D. Malone

John Malone, DO, comes to Access Health Care Physicians from Clearwater where he practiced as a family practice physician for six years. He completed residency in family medicine at HCA Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida and has been working as a family medicine doctor since then. He received his medical degree from Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine and he also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.

Throughout his education Dr. Malone was recognized for his involvement with students and the community at large. He received a certificate of appreciation from Nova Southeastern University COM for outstanding leadership to the members of the Bradley Silverman Academical Society. He served as the Silverman Society Wellness Director at Nova Southeastern where he organized wellness events and advised students on fitness and health activities. He also served as treasurer of the Student Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology where he managed club funds for events, meetings and charity. Dr. Malone is a strong believer in nutrition and preventive care.

He is an active member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association. He and his wife, Donna, have two sons, Dominic and Zachary. He enjoys computers/technology, automotive restoration, and health and fitness.
