Message From Leah Tehranchi
Board Certified as a Family Medicine
Leah Tehranchi, DO, comes to Access Health Care after completing her residency at St. Petersburg General Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida and has been working as one of the family medicine doctors in Access. She completed an internship (PGY-1) at Largo Medical Center in Largo.
Dr. Tehranchi received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in food and human nutrition from the University of Florida, where she graduated cum laude.
Dr. Tehranchi is a Tampa Bay native and was a volunteer at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point where she was also the recipient of a volunteer scholarship award in 2008.
Dr. Tehranchi is passionate about preventative medicine and taking a holistic approach to healthcare. She is experienced in treating hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disease, arthritis, back pain, and many other conditions. She performs in-office procedures such as skin biopsies, joint injections and back injections, and other procedures to make sure her patients are well taken care of. Dr. Tehranchi says. "I am truly excited to be practicing in the Hudson area where I grew up. I look forward to dedicating my time to excellent patient care in my home community."
Dr. Tehranchi is interested in geriatric medicine and enjoys kayaking and horseback riding.
