Message From Salman Muddassir

Salman Muddassir, MD, FACP, comes to Access Health Care from Oak Hill Hospital where he serves as program director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Prior to his appointment as program director, Dr. Muddassir served for 13 years at Seton Hall University Internal Medicine Program at Saint Francis Medical Center in New Jersey where he completed his internal medicine residency while also appointed Chief Resident.

Dr. Muddassir received his medical degree from Quaid-e-Azam University in Islamabad, Pakistan. His pre-medical training was at Sir Syed College in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Prior to his medical training Dr. Muddassir was educated at the Army Public Scholl in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. While at Seton Hall University – Saint Francis Medical Center Dr. Muddassir was the recipient of several awards including Best Teaching Attending Physician in 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. He is also a lifetime member of Global Directory of Who’s Who and the Consumer Research Council of America rated him as one of America’s top physicians in 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2015. Dr. Muddassir is the author of countless poster presentations, abstracts, and publications.

Dr. Muddassir is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine, the Graduate Medical Education Commission at Oak Hill Hospital, and the Quality Improvement & Safety Committee at Oak Hill Hospital.

He and his wife have three sons. He enjoys hiking, traveling, and adventure sports.
