Message From Yana Geyvandova
Yana Geyvandova, APRN, FNP, received her Master of Science degree in nursing from the University of South Florida in 2012 and has been practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Access Health Care Physicians since that time. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from St. Petersburg College of Nursing and a Doctor of Pediatrics degree from the Medical State Institute, Baku, Azerbaijan, USSR.
Yana holds certifications as a nurse practitioner and BLS. She has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area since 1999. Prior to that Yana practiced medicine in Baku, Azerbaijan, USSR - 1985 -1988 and practiced medicine in Russia - 1991 - 1998.
Over the years Yana has been a preceptor of nursing students through various programs in the Bay area. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
She speaks both English and Russian fluently.
Yana and her husband have two grown sons. She enjoys seeing patients at the office, reading books, listening to music, streaming movies, travelling, and taking walks with her husband, cooking and swimming.
