Spring Hill, Florida (September 20, 2019) – Access Health Care Physicians, LLC, is proud to announce that Manjusri Vennamaneni, MD, its Chief Medical Director, was recently recognized as Businesswoman of the Year by the Indo-US Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented to Dr. Vennamaneni at its Banyan Ball at Armature Works in Tampa, Florida.
Dr. Vennamaneni was chosen for her many accomplishments during her years practicing in Hernando County:
- She initiated the first Accountable Care Organization (ACO) in the county;
- She was the first practice in the area to be recognized by the NCQA as a Level 3 Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH);
- As Chief Quality Director, she was recognized by Optimum Health Care with a 5 Star rating (Highest rating);
- She led the team which developed IT products used in Utilization Management, compliance, revenue cycle management. These products are being used by Access Health Care, but also practices everywhere.
- She also helped to develop the first TPA (Third Party Administrator) in Hernando County.
Upon accepting the award, Dr. Vennamaneni was quick to give credit to Access Health Care Physicians, “for its leadership, not only in healthcare, but also in health IT, health management, consulting, and infrastructure management,” she said. Her acceptance speech was full of accolades for the support of her colleagues and staff.
“We believe in turning obstacles into opportunities and in challenging ourselves every day,” said Dr. Vennamaneni. “This is possible due to the cooperation and support from every member of our organization. I am truly grateful to each and every one of my colleagues. Together, we reached so many milestones.”
Dr. Vennamaneni especially thanked Pariksith Singh, MD, CEO of Access Health Care Physicians and Mirra Health Care “who has trusted me as a project leader. He sets the example. I learn from him every day,” she said. About Dr. Vennamaneni Dr. Singh said, “In her last 15 years at Access she has grown from a physician to a physician leader. All of us at Access have grown to be dependent on her wisdom and leadership. She is regarded as one of the most respected physicians in our organization.”
