Access Health Care Physicians, LLC Announces Hernando County's First Health-Tech Innovation Center

Over the last three years, Access Health Care Physicians, LLC has created new health care solutions in the industry by using its subject matter experts and information technology specialists in collaboration with Pratian Technologies, based in Bengaluru, India.

As a fast-growing enterprise, Access Health Care Physicians LLC started on this journey 3 years back, at the beginning of 2015. We first searched the market for physician-friendly solutions that would ensure compliance, plug gaps, and ensure quality health care delivery for our patients. We could find technology that unfortunately, was not interoperable, and had low or zero support from the technology providers and which were just about trying to keep up to the changing trends in the healthcare industry. Nothing looked like it was being built for the future.

All we could buy was archaic, expensive, and high-maintenance software. And all of this was taking us away from our core goals & objectives towards patient safety & deep patient relationships. Access Health Care Physicians, LLC decided to set up a HealthTech innovation center in Hernando County. Our health care experts and IT professionals from Pratian, worked together breaking the barriers of physician-technology integration. We started developing technology designed by health care professionals, for health care professionals. Over the last 3 years, together we have built software for Credentialing, Utilization Management, Claims Adjudication, Customer Service Management, Coding, Billing, Pre-audits, RAPS Processing & in addition to a large Enterprise Data Warehouse that provides real-time decision support systems.

With our software development, we established our own SOC2 certified data center in Hernando County along with a video recording studio to capture the experiences. Additionally, we created an LMS (Learning Management System) to share the expertise of our leadership with staff, providers, and patients – with over 188 hours of e-learning including CMEs & CEUs.

Today, we use our credentialing software and it is deployed for delegation agreements with Wellcare, Inc and Humana, Inc for all our providers. Our software in Utilization Management is currently being used as part of a delegation agreement with Humana, Inc for all our employed providers and affiliates across 70 locations.

Our claims billing gateway has processed about a million claims in the last three years. At present, we are developing a Claims Adjudication Platform along with a Customer Service Module which will be fully interoperable and integrated. With the growing popularity of our HealthTech solutions, we are very excited to be taking our products to the HIMSS 2018 showcase at Las Vegas.

We have learned to leverage the best technology available along with the best talent globally to create improved patient experiences, quality of care, better compliance, and outcomes along with patient safety and satisfaction. This rapid digital transformation of Access Health Care Physicians, LLC across 150 locations, is now planned to expand the innovation further, to address health care problems and deficiencies at a national and global level.
